Sandy Reed has worked in Medical Billing most of her life and operated her own billing company for 19 years. In 2017, her company, Central Valley Medical Billing, joined forces with Empire Management Group. Sandy has experience billing for many specialties, including Anesthesia, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Family Practices, General Surgery, Optometry, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers. She is a current member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and takes pride in helping her team stay up to date on the ever-changing medical billing industry. Sandy enjoys the challenge of working with third-party payors and is passionate about helping providers clear up credentialing issues, as well as providing them with good billing practices while keeping them in compliance. She specializes in maximizing a group or individual provider’s income and has an intimate understanding of the billing struggles that many providers face.

In her free time, Sandy enjoys the company of her 4 grandchildren and looks forward to the adults that they will soon become. She loves camping, hiking, and golfing. Sandy loves to travel and is always looking for a new adventure. She enjoys visiting local wineries to learn how they age and craft their fine wines. Sandy donates blood on a regular basis to help those in need. She spent many years playing softball, volleyball, and basketball, and she loves attending baseball games whenever possible. She is also a big fan of the Denver Broncos. The holidays are Sandy’s favorite time of the year. She enjoys cooking and baking cookies with her grandkids.
